Online sales

A storefront, a cart, payment, and stock, linked to the warehouse and the delivery services.

For shops and brands whose orders are still confirmed by hand.

What it consists of

What goes into the system

  1. 01

    Catalog

Product, price, stock, and photo match what is in the warehouse. Not a spreadsheet from a week ago.

    • Categories the way a buyer searches
    • A record: price, stock, variant
    • What to hide when there is no stock
  2. 02

    Cart and order

The path from “added” to “checked out” is short. We remove the extra steps where people leave.

    • Contents, delivery, contact
    • An error if the item has already been picked
    • An order number immediately after checkout
  3. 03

    Payment

Money and order status are linked. “I paid, and you cannot see it” should not be an ordinary case.

    • The payment gateway you already use
    • Success, a refusal, and a retry
    • A return does not break the stock
  4. 04

    Warehouse and delivery

The order goes to picking and to the delivery service without being copied by hand into another program.

    • Who is picking, and in which warehouse
    • A tracking number or a delivery window on the order
    • The status the buyer sees
  5. 05

    Where it drops off

We look at the steps, not at “traffic”: opened the record, reached payment, paid.

    • Counters along the steps of an order
    • An email or a message about the status
    • What a manager edits if an order is stuck

A guide for the timing

A narrow shop takes about two months. Several warehouses and storefronts are a separate stage.

Outcome

The order moves on its own: payment, status, and handoff to picking, without a chain of messages.

What usually comes later

Several storefronts, a wholesale account, and complex discounts by client group are a separate stage, after the first live orders.
